Kampala, Uganda — Dr. Tendo Ronex Kisembo, an aspirant for the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA), has declared his readiness to serve Uganda with distinction in Arusha, appealing to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and the NRM party to endorse his candidacy.
The political hopeful said it is time the party leadership blessed him to fly the Ugandan flag at the regional assembly, arguing that he possesses the leadership qualities and regional insight necessary to effectively represent the country's interests.
"It's high time NRM and President Museveni bless me and send a good leader who knows in and out of East Africa," Dr. Kisembo said.
He positioned himself as the ideal candidate to amplify Uganda's voice in Arusha, emphasizing that the President requires a representative who can articulately champion national priorities at the regional level.
"President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni needs a person who has a good voice in Arusha, and that is me," he asserted.
The EALA frontrunner reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the NRM's core principles, particularly patriotism, which he described as the foundation of his political philosophy.
"I believe in NRM principles of patriotism," Dr. Kisembo stated, pledging to dedicate all his experience and energy to advancing Uganda's agenda within the East African Community.
Dr. Kisembo's declaration adds to the growing list of aspirants eyeing Uganda's slots in the East African Legislative Assembly, as the NRM party prepares to vet and select its representatives for the regional parliament.
