Trust Me With EALA Seat, I Won't Disappoint You" – Frontrunner Dr. Tendo Ronex Kisembo Tells MPs

KAMPALA, Uganda – As the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) by-election draws closer this month, frontrunner Dr. Tendo Ronex Kisembo has appealed to Members of Parliament to trust him with the seat, promising he will not disappoint them.

The vacancies arose after Denis Namara (Buyaga West County) and James Kakooza (Representative for Older Persons) resigned from EALA following their election to the Ugandan Parliament.

Dr. Kisembo, who is emerging as a leading contender, assured MPs that he will uphold the trust given to him by both the NRM party and Parliament.

"I will keep the trust that NRM and MPs will give me. I will also see that the East African Community functions well," Dr. Kisembo said.

According to reports, support for Dr. Kisembo is steadily increasing, with many MPs describing him as an honest, brilliant, and energetic individual capable of representing Uganda effectively on the regional stage.

The by-election is expected to take place this month.
