Pan-African Women’s Organisation Backs Dr. Tendo Ronex Kisembo for EALA as Regional Solidarity Shines

Kampala, Uganda – East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) aspirant Dr. Tendo Ronex Kisembo has received a major endorsement from the Pan African Women’s Organisation (PAWO) Uganda Chapter following a courtesy visit that brought together regional allies.

Dr. Kisembo was joined by Tanzanian comrades Emma L. Nyerere (scion of the Mwalimu Nyerere family) and Deborah Nyakisinda as they paid a strategic visit to PAWO’s Uganda headquarters. The delegation expressed gratitude to PAWO for officially throwing its weight behind the #TENDO4EALA campaign.

Special recognition was reserved for PAWO Secretary General Dr. Grace Kabayo, whom Dr. Kisembo saluted for her “steadfastness” in championing Pan-Africanism and women’s leadership across the continent.

“Grateful to them for the endorsement,” Dr. Kisembo noted, emphasizing that PAWO’s support—rooted in decades of liberation struggle credentials—adds significant weight to his EALA bid. The presence of Tanzanian comrades underscored the cross-border nature of the race and the growing regional confidence in his candidacy.

The endorsement positions Dr. Kisembo as a candidate bridging youth, Pan-African solidarity, and respect for the continent’s historic women’s movements.
