Arusha / Kampala – East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) aspirant Dr. Tendo Ronex Kisembo has received a special blessing from Mama Maria Nyerere, the widow of Tanzania's founding father, Mwalimu Julius Nyerere.
Describing the encounter as "priceless moments," Dr. Kisembo said the experience of sitting with senior East African leaders who can offer wise guidance is unmatched as he campaigns for a seat at the regional parliament.
Mama Maria, widely respected across the region for her grace and wisdom, extended her blessings to Kisembo in a warm meeting that he described as deeply humbling.
Speaking after the audience, the EALA hopeful emphasized the importance of seeking counsel from elders.
"It is always good to consult elders. Having experience and senior East African leaders who can guide you well is priceless," Kisembo said.
He added that Mama Maria's blessing strengthens his resolve to serve the East African community by promoting regional integration, peace, and shared prosperity.
