Dr. Tendo Ronex Kisembo Holds High-Level Talks with Jumuiya SG Mbundi, DPM Kadaga After Museveni’s Colorful Inauguration at Kololo

KAMPALA, UGANDA – In the wake of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s historic inauguration at Kololo National Ceremonial Grounds, Dr. Tendo Ronex Kisembo—a prominent advocate for East African Community (EAC) affairs—has launched a fiery new political declaration: (Kisanja Hakuna Kulala), signaling there will be “no sleeping” during the 2026–2031 leadership term.

Dr. Kisembo, who is positioning himself as a key voice for youth and regional integration, described the new era as one of relentless action, especially concerning the EAC.

“Mzee just declared 2026–2031 as Kisanja Hakuna Kulala ,” Dr. Kisembo stated. “I reaffirm my commitment and readiness to support Mzee to revitalize the EAC integration pursuit, especially among the Bazzukulu and Gen-Z.”

Immediately after the swearing-in ceremony, Dr. Kisembo held what he described as a “pleasure meeting” with the newly appointed Jumuiya Secretary General, Amb. Stephen Patrick Mbundi, alongside Uganda’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for EAC Affairs, Rt. Hon. Rebecca Kadaga.

The three leaders converged at the Kololo ceremonial grounds to discuss the future of regional cooperation under Museveni’s continued leadership of the EAC. Dr. Kisembo used the opportunity to reaffirm his readiness to support the President as EAC Chair.

Later, at Sheraton Hotel Kampala, Dr. Kisembo received Comrade Taki from South Africa, a visiting ally. The two were preparing to head to Serena Kampala Hotel for the official NRM Online dinner with H.E. the President.

“Once again, I wish to congratulate our Jumuiya Chair, Mzee wa Kazi, for a colorful and historic inauguration,” Dr. Kisembo added.

In a lighter moment, Dr. Kisembo engaged in what he termed “comradeship consultation” with Hon. Dennis Namara, the MP-elect for Buyaga West County. The two shared a candid conversation at Kololo grounds, reflecting on the future of the 11th Parliament and the role of young legislators in advancing Museveni’s agenda.

With the rallying call, Dr. Kisembo has signaled he intends to be a bridge between the old guard of East African integration and the rising Bazzukulu generation. As he put it: “The next five years are for work, not rest. We must carry EAC forward—starting with our youth.”

Efforts are now underway to mobilize young Ugandans and East Africans around a renewed push for trade, labor mobility, and cultural exchange under the EAC framework.
