Dr. Ronex Tendo Kisembo Praises Museveni’s Leadership, Vows to Emulate Him as EALA MP

Kampala, Uganda – As Uganda joined the rest of the world to celebrate International Labour Day, vocal political figure Dr. Ronex Tendo Kisembo has extended heartfelt gratitude to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for what he termed as exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to the nation’s progress.

In a statement released on the Labour Day holiday, Dr. Kisembo specifically wished the President good health and continued strength.

“I want to thank President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for the good leadership in Uganda. On this Labour Day, I wish him health,” Dr. Kisembo said.

He did not stop at the head of state. Dr. Kisembo also showered praise on the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, commending the General’s ongoing efforts to root out corruption within key sectors.

“I also want to thank CDF General Muhoozi Kainerugaba for the good job he is doing fighting corruption and for being a good leader,” he added.

However, the highlight of his message was a clear declaration of his political ambitions. Dr. Kisembo, who is eyeing the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) parliamentary seat, promised that his performance at the regional parliament would mirror the discipline and work ethic of President Museveni.

“I will also work well like President Museveni when elected as EALA MP,” he vowed.

The EALA elections are highly competitive, with candidates vying to represent Uganda in the Arusha-based legislative body responsible for East African Community affairs. By linking his campaign to the ruling establishment’s leadership style, Dr. Kisembo appears to be positioning himself as a continuity candidate dedicated to both national and regional transformation.
