No More Comfort Seekers in EALA – Uganda Deserves Results, Says Dr. Tendo Ronex Kisembo Supporters

Kampala, Uganda – A growing chorus of supporters backing Dr. Tendo Ronex Kisembo, an aspirant for the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA), has issued a firm message: Uganda cannot afford another five years of passive representation in Arusha.

In a statement released by friends of the aspirant, the group declared that the era of sending "comfort seekers and fortune seekers" to EALA must end.

"Membership alone is not enough," the statement read. "What matters is the quality of representation and the ability to influence policy in Uganda's national interest."

The group argued that EALA should not be treated as a retirement destination or political reward, but as a strategic institution where Uganda fights for market access, infrastructure connectivity, and jobs.

Citing President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni's role as chairman of the East African Community, the supporters urged him to ensure Uganda's delegation reflects "merit, competence, and a proven commitment to regional integration."

According to Dr. Tendo's camp, Uganda needs "advocates, negotiators, and visionaries – not spectators." They believe the aspirant's experience and continued advocacy on East African affairs make him the kind of result-seeker Uganda should prioritize.

"The time has come to demand results," they concluded. "No more comfort seekers. Uganda deserves results."
