LIRA, UGANDA – Queen Dorothy Amolo, the former contestant for the Oyam South parliamentary seat, has re-emerged on the national stage—not in politics, but as a technology pioneer. Together with her husband, Dr. Jason Boyle, she has unveiled 256AI Systems, a comprehensive suite of digital platforms designed to solve everyday Ugandan problems, create jobs, and bridge the gap between local communities and global markets.
The rollout, scheduled for July 2026, represents over a decade of expertise. Professionally a computer programmer since 2016, an AI engineer, and a systems architect, Amolo has built platforms for governments, corporations, and small businesses. Now, she is turning her focus to her homeland.
"Our main objective is to create jobs," Amolo declared during the launch announcement. "People are sitting out here; they do not know how to create jobs. But we are using digital systems to create as many jobs as possible. We are not doing this only in Northern Uganda. The platforms we are launching will be scaled across every single village in Uganda. Every single district."
Under the 256AI Systems umbrella, Amolo has developed multiple interconnected platforms, each targeting a specific gap in Uganda's digital landscape.
1. 256AI – Uganda's Custom Artificial Intelligence
Available at AI.256.co.ug, this platform offers a locally optimized AI assistant similar to ChatGPT but tailored for Ugandan needs. Features include:Contract drafting with customizable word limits,AI-powered resume writing tailored to specific job applications,Coding assistance for developers to build and deploy websites,Free daily access for all users, with premium plans for advanced coding features
2. 256Heart – A Premium Dating Platform
At 256heart.com, Amolo has created a modern, secure dating ecosystem with layers of privacy:Stealth Mode for politicians, celebrities, and public figures—users are identified by a code and must sign NDAs,VIP Section for verified members,Free lifetime access for all users who sign up before July 29 and Dr. Boyle expressed particular excitement about this platform: "Dating websites in America have become one of the dominant ways that people meet each other. You get to learn about the person. Thousands of people can see what you are asking for and say, 'I think I am that person.' I think Ugandans are really going to enjoy it."
Boyle also hinted at international marketing: "As soon as it is populated by Ugandans, we are absolutely marketing this in America. American men are searching for traditional women—and guess what, there is a ton of them here."

3. 256 Mall – Connecting Farmers and Businesses to Markets
Available at 256.UG, this e-commerce platform aims to revolutionize how Ugandans buy and sell:Village-level listings for farmers to sell groundnuts, cassava, tomatoes, and livestock,Geolocation pins that guide buyers directly to sellers,Wholesale section for aspiring retailers to source products,Export hub to connect Ugandan sellers with international buyers,Escrow payment system that holds money until delivery is confirmed,A dedicated team will register offline businesses across every trading center to bring them online
"If a farmer in Alebtong has a cassava garden listed there, Kampala would order it, they would just come uproot—market for the farmer," Amolo explained. "Instead of selling it at a low cost locally, they get fair value."
4. 256 Express – Uganda's Unified Transport Network
At 256express.com, users can access a single platform for:Boda bodas (verified and geolocated),Special hire vehicles,Trucks, fuso, and construction equipment,Tractors and agricultural machinery and Hotel bookings and package delivery services
"The boda bodas are all verified," Amolo emphasized. "Every single boda boda deep down in every village, in cities, wherever—we are going to list them. The system has already verified them."
5. 256 Link Shield – Free Cybersecurity
Amolo described this as her "corporate responsibility" to Ugandans. Available now at linkshield.256.co.ug, the platform allows users to:Verify suspicious links received via WhatsApp or other channels,Detect malware and fake job scams,Cross-reference with official announcements (e.g., UNICEF fake giveaways) and Use the service absolutely free forever
"People are stealing our information because we are just sharing links ignorantly," she warned. "We could protect ourselves."
In a striking commitment, Amolo announced that 256AI Systems is prepared to build every single government platform for free—with no money down—to tackle corruption, track payments, and improve service delivery in health and education.
"The government is struggling with corruption. The government is saying that the healthcare—they don't have medicine in the hospitals. Teachers are not showing up to work," she stated. "256 will build the national platform for absolutely zero money down. We only ask once we build the platform, the government pay us to maintain it. We could get rid of corruption by building an anti-corruption software so that no one is handling a single payment in billions without tracking."
Dr. Jason Boyle, Amolo's husband and business partner, spoke passionately about her vision and the potential for Uganda-America collaboration.
"Queen Dorothy does not have to be told what to do. That is the new economy of the world," Boyle said. "If you are waiting around being told what to do, you will be left behind. What she has done is she has given people a platform to advocate for themselves—everything from English literacy tests to getting your company visible to reaching out to the world."
Boyle, who described feeling "instantly comfortable" in Uganda, noted that Americans and Ugandans share more in common than many realize. He praised Ugandan men as "standing strong" and Ugandan women as "traditional," contrasting with what he termed America's "lost way."
"America has lost its way in a lot of ways. A lot of the women have become non-traditional. American men are searching for traditional women. And guess what, there is a ton of them here," Boyle said. "I think opening up a dialogue, even if it's just playful, even if it develops friendships, 256Heart is a great way to do that."
Amolo emphasized that every platform includes free plans for Ugandans who cannot afford premium services. Paid plans, which start after July 29, offer additional privacy layers and advanced features.
The company is also recruiting developers and support staff. Amolo set a high standard: "We are building every single order in 48 hours. If you know you cannot do things on time, do not waste your time applying."
To date, the team has already built over 100 websites without having officially launched—proof, Amolo said, that "the system we have now is working."
Amolo urged Ugandans to visit 256.co.ug—the central hub for all platforms—and explore the ecosystem.
"I want some girl to find her own engineer that works in Kampala on 256Heart. That is how it should be," she said. "There are people that are looking for love, and they should find love."
Dr. Boyle added a final challenge: "If you really want to make money, follow her. Try to see what availability she has. Look for opportunities in the American and foreign markets via the websites. Nothing is perfect—but these guys work for jobs. People in America that have miserable lives are still making enough money to pay Ugandans a living wage."
With the official launch this July,256AI Systems is poised to become one of Uganda's most ambitious digital transformation initiatives. From farmers in Alebtong to CEOs in Kampala, from boda riders to government ministries, Amolo's ecosystem aims to leave no one behind.
As she put it: "The world has moved on. No one is doing things analog anymore. But who is there to help Uganda move forward into the digital space? We are."
