Young Guns Ready to Fire: Legacy College Apac Named Team to Watch at USSSA Tournament in Oyam

OYAM – As the USSSA Lango ball games kick off tomorrow in Ngai Sub County, all eyes are turning to a side that many are calling the tournament’s sleeping giant: Legacy College Apac.

While other teams boast experience, Legacy is placing its bets on raw, young talent—a squad of skilled and dedicated players who, according to their coach, are ready to tear up the script and shock the competition.

Coach Felix Obote did not mince words when describing his team’s mindset ahead of the highly anticipated games.

"This team is strong. We are ready to crash any opponent that stands in our way," Obote said confidently. "The boys have a simple but powerful motto: we start and finish the game."

The coach’s optimism is not unfounded. Legacy College Apac has been quietly building a reputation for nurturing technically gifted players who combine youthful energy with tactical discipline. While other teams may rely on physical strength or tournament experience, Legacy’s squad is banking on speed, creativity, and an unshakable belief.

Obote’s ultimate goal is clear: "The trophy for Lango USSSA will be taken to Apac," he declared.

With matches set to begin tomorrow in Ngai Sub County, tournament organizers and rival teams have been warned. Legacy College Apac may arrive as underdogs, but if their coach’s words hold true, they will leave as champions.

Kickoff is scheduled for tomorrow morning, and all roads in the Lango region will lead to Ngai to see if this young side can live up to the hype.
