Community Focus International, in partnership with Hope-Smiles, is set to provide dental health services to residents of Kole District.
The outreach will take place from 4th to 8th May 2026 at the Community Focus Learning Centre in Lela Village, Aye Sub-county. The initiative will also serve neighboring districts across the Lango sub-region.
Services to be offered include dental examinations and cleaning, tooth extractions, fillings, and oral hygiene education.
According to Ponsiano Coda, Director of Programs at Community Focus International, the partnership strengthens the organization’s commitment to improving community well-being.
“Through our partnership with Hope-Smiles, we reaffirm our shared commitment to ensuring that no one is denied access to essential healthcare simply because of where they live. Lela Village will become a place where pain is relieved, smiles are restored, and hope is renewed,” Coda said.
He encouraged residents of Kole and neighboring districts to take advantage of the free services.
“We urge everyone within Kole and the surrounding districts to come and have their dental health checked. It is very important,” he added.
Community Focus International has previously organized similar dental outreach programs in partnership with Hope-Smiles in Otwal, Iceme, and Acimi sub-counties in Oyam District, as well as Bar and Agali in Lira District.
